Brief description: Playbill for Japanese production of 'Oliver!'
Label: Oliver!, the musical adaptation of Oliver Twist, opened in London in 1960. Japanese film company Toho (of Godzilla fame) brought the production to the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo in 1968. Although a later 2021 production at the same theatre would feature a Japanese cast, this production had British, Australian, and American actors, including two workhouse boys from the original West End cast.
