Label: An anonymous author writes a plagiaristic or parody 'sequel' to A Christmas Carol exploring what became of Scrooge and Tiny Tim. It was published in 1870 - the year of Dickens's death - but contains a preface by 'the Author', supposedly written in Christmas 1869, which all but pretends to be Dickens publishing a secret sequel anonymously to see if it succeeds without the prestige of his name.
