Charles Dickens's owned these copies of Alexander Dumas's Crimes Celebres (Celebrated Crimes). they are a series of stories based on historic crimes. There are eight volumes in total, bound in sets of two. The volumes formed part of Dickens's Library at Gad's Hill, and include his book plate.
