- Brief description
- Dickensana scrapbook 4 compiled by Frederic G. Kitton
- Label
- This scrapbook titled ‘Dickensana VI’ is the last volume of the four volume series of scrapbooks compiled by Frederic G. Kitton. Kitton was a known Dickens scholar, artist, and founding member of the Dickens Fellowship. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, illustrations, leaflets, and other printed materials all surrounding Dickens and his work between the years 1880 to 1905. Kitton died in 1904 at age 48, but there is some material in the book from 1905 which suggests someone else pasted in some of the material.
