Label: Turma da Mônica (Mônica's Gang) is perhaps the most famous comic in Brazil. Started in 1959, it remains popular today. It follows the adventures of Mônica, Cebolinha (Jimmy Five), Magali (Maggy), and Cascão (Smudge) who live on Rua do Limoeiro (Lemon Tree Street). This annual Christmas almanac brought together Christmas stories from the original comic including an adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
