- Brief description
- Playscript of 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood: A Drama in Four Acts' by Charley Dickens and Joseph Hatton
- Label
- Dickens's death in 1870 left his last novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, unfinished. Many attempted to complete it. A popular attempt, John Jasper's Secret, was (falsely) believed to be co-written by Dickens's friend Wilkie Collins and his son, Charles Dickens Jnr., which boosted sales. Charles Jnr. did co-write a Drood solution - this play which was written and casted but ultimately never performed.
