- 'Autobiography Of A Small Boy' was a piece by Irish writer Percy Fitzgerald which appeared in Dickens's weekly magazine All the Year Round in two parts on 15 and 22 August 1868. This manuscript has been edited by Dickens in blue ink (he switched from black to blue ink in the later years of his life). A note on the back says "given me by Percy Fitzgerald, Jan 1889", suggesting Fitzgerald kept the manuscript for over 20 years.
