- Authentication card for a silver goblet presented to Charles Dickens by his colleagues at the Morning Chronicle

- Georgina Hogarth was Dickens's sister-in-law, confidant, and housekeeper. Even after Dickens separated from Georgina's sister Catherine, she continued to work for and support Dickens. After his death in 1870, Georgina was one of two executors of Dickens's will and oversaw the distribution and sale of his possessions. Later in life Georgina had money troubles and sold off her remaining collection of Dickens's possessions. She wrote small notes guaranteeing items were genuine and explaining their significance to Dickens's life. The goblet was gifted to Dickens in 1837 on leaving The Morning Chronicle, while still living in Doughty Street. He left to take on the role of editor of Bentley's Miscellany and to start work on Oliver Twist.
