- Charles Dickens's travelling mirror in gilt frame

- Dickens used this mirror at his home in Gad's Hill Place, Kent, and took it with him on his travels. It was a gift from Georgina Hogarth, his sister-in-law and housekeeper, and Dickens's son Henry, whom he nicknamed "Harry". After Dickens's death at Gad's Hill Place in 1870 it was gifted to Dickens's page boy (a young servant), Isaac Armatage, who had raced on horseback for the doctor on the night of Dickens's death.
