- A decorative jug showing Little Nell from The Old Curiosity Shop stood by a gravestone. Toby jugs were humorous pottery shaped like a sitting person. They were popular before and throughout Dickens’s life. This is part of a collection of twelve Dickens-themed jugs including Scrooge, Mr. Micawber, and Fagin made by Wood & Sons, sold by Franklin Porcelain of London on a bi-monthly subscription basis.
