This gold and turquoise ring was given by Charles Dickens to Catherine Dickens on their engagement in 1836. Charles Dickens described this ring in the novel 'David Copperfield' in the story when David gives an engagement ring to Dora: 'A pretty little toy, with its blue stones'.

Physical description
