What's in Dickens's Pockets?

Dickens was not just an author, he was also a human being. He lived in houses, ate food, wore clothes, and even smoked cigars. The Charles Dickens Museum does not just contain copies of his books and letters but also items which the novelist might have owned and used, such as hairbrushes and pens. Looking at these objects, we can imagine what day-to-day life might have been like in Dickens's shoes.
