Christmas and the Carol
Dickens is perhaps most famous for and most associated with Christmas thanks to his series of Christmas Stories. The most famous, A Christmas Carol, has been told time and again in every shape and form, from manga to muppets. For Dickens, Christmas was a time for generosity, good food, and ghost stories.
